Borrego Springs Sculpture
I am very excited to be working on a life-size sculpture commission for a property just across the street from the Borrego Springs Airport here is Southern California. I've been experimenting with concrete techniques to create this sculpture. There are a lot of options for creative concrete applications!
The sculpture will be depicting early homesteader, Alfred Armstrong "Doc" Beaty, who helped pave the way for more settlers in the region by expanding the roads leading farmers and traders to and from San Diego's center.
I'm getting ready to make rubber molds for the sculpture.

Borrego Springs is a beautiful place. I can't wait to go out to spend some time in the Desert, installing this work in January!
